Run the program and it will update that badboy for ya! So I ask, is punkbuster even worth putting on, I've seen more people get away with hacks then those being kicked, and most likely, when they finally pull their finger out to update for the new hacks, there will be problems again, it's almost expected from PB. There are other setup programs for Linux and Mac users. Lately I've seen a fair few hackers in this game. If you are an MS Windows client, download: pbsetup.exe Go to PB's website and use the setup program they provide and use it to manually update PunkBuster. Well, this is how you fix your PB and get yourself back to playing CoD. Perhaps your firewall prevented it? Perhaps you had a computer crash or power outtage during the update procedure (that's what happened to me!). Not the least of which is that the PunkBuster program failed to auto-update itself. However, assuming you are indeed running a unique, legitimate copy of CoD (or any other PB supported game) there are many reasons why this error could have occurred. then you've been caught with your hand in the digital cookie jar. Has PunkBuster booted you off servers lately for the " Duplicate GUID/CD Key" error?
